How I got 20K followers on Linkedin in 12 months
Consistency is a massive asset.
I have attracted almost 20K followers in just 12 months
Here are the 3 simple things I did:
-
Step 1: Test ideas
In January, I committed to post everyday
I started by taking notes in my note app and plan a post the day before its release
My 2 goals were simple:
1) See what content worked
2) Getting small wins to keep me motivated
-
Step 2: Creating copywriting frameworks
By 6 I had achieved my goals.
But there was more to do if I wanted to unlock more relevant leads to my niche
So, I changed my strategy:
- Broke down my content ideas
- Planned on different days
- Mixed personal stories with insights
-
Step 3: Engaging with other
At the same time, I decided to start ramp up my engagement
The system I created for myself was simple:
- Blocked 30 min per day to engage with others
- Quality answers vs short snippets
- Focus on building a network rather than just adding followers
Once I got a manageable framework, all I had to do was to use some tools to keep my systems on autopilot.
And this is how I reached almost 20K followers in just 12 months
